About Fierce
Design services that complement and enable the strategic growth of design teams. Fierce is the youngest of our three companies and is in its really early phase of set up; this means that the people coming into this role will have a big opportunity to shape and influence how we build it going forward. Fierce is already working with one of our core clients to embed the hires being made by Fearless Talent and deliver design projects from User Research, Service Design, Product Design, and Business Design. We practice design thinking methodology and wholeheartedly believe that the user should be at the centre of everything we do.

We are looking for a driven, hard-working, and highly organised Account Manager to
join our Operations team, working on a mix of corporate clients, and reporting
directly into our Chief Operating Officer.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of effective and
creative Design solutions which surprise and delight our clients by building strong
long-term relationships with client teams, managing internal teams and processes
skilfully, and maintaining a focus on quality deliverables.

Key duties

  • Operate as the main point of contact for client accounts
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts
  • Ensure client receives services in a timely fashion and over see/monitor/manage risk/ensure quality on key contractual deliverables/projects
  • Forecast and track client account metrics
  • Coordinate with Fearless team members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
  • Collaborate with Sales team (led by the Chief Commercial Officer) to gain new accounts and capitalise on opportunities with existing clients
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients; generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and   cross-selling
  • Manage all administrative elements of client accounts – e.g. purchase orders are in place before work commences, timely invoicing, timesheet completion.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and contractual documentation for clients.
  • Understand current and future resource requirements and ensure key documentation (such as NDAs) is in place.
  • Identify and propose options to improve internal processes and future project delivery.

Must have

  • Account Management experience
  • Expertise in building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading, managing, and delivering strategically important and high value projects.
  • Project Management skills particularly Agile tools and methodologies
  • Understanding of financial forecasting and P&L
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships
  • Negotiation skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Knowledge of Microsoft/Google docs suite in order to produce high quality client deliverables


  • Knowledge of Design best practice such as Design Thinking
  • Experience working with Design teams
  • Understanding of process improvement tools and approaches such as Six Sigma
  • Risk Management experience
  • Experience using Notion, Slack

  • Starting salary of £25,000 – £35,000 dependent on experience
